FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How is an accumulator calculated?

Convert each selection to decimal odds and multiply them. A £10 four-fold at evens, 6/4, 4/6 and 2/1 is 25.00 in decimal (+2400), returning £250.00.

What are doubles, trebles and folds?

A double has two selections, a treble three, and four or more are called four-folds, five-folds and so on. £10 on a double of two evens shots returns £40.00; a treble of three evens shots returns £80.00.

What happens if a selection is a non-runner or void?

It is treated as a winner at odds of 1.00, so the acca continues with the remaining selections. If the 6/4 leg above is void, the £10 acca returns £100.00.

What are the real chances of an acca landing?

The implied probability of the four-fold above is 4.00% — and that still includes the bookmaker’s margin on every leg. Accas pay big because they rarely win.
