FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a Trixie bet?

A Trixie is a UK system bet on 3 selections made up of 4 bets: 3 doubles, 1 trebles. It has no singles, so you need at least two winners for a return.

How much does a £1 Trixie cost?

4 bets at £1 each cost £4.00. Each-way doubles the number of bets to 8, so a £1 each-way Trixie costs £8.00.

What does a £1 Trixie pay if every selection wins at evens?

£20.00 in total — a profit of £16.00 on the £4.00 stake.

What if one selection loses?

Only the bets containing that selection lose. With the example odds on this page (5/1, 3/1, 2/1) and the last selection losing, a £1 Trixie still returns £24.00.

Are bookmaker bonuses included?

No. Some bookmakers add bonuses or consolations to Trixie bets (for example extra odds when only one selection wins). Those terms vary, so we show the standard settlement only.
